“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”- Lao Tzu
This is where my journey begins. It is the first step in my thousand-mile journey of reaching out to mothers all over the world. I am writing this first blog on Mother’s Day morning with my three boys running around like maniacs. I know there are millions of mothers out there on this day, at this very same minute, trying to get something done amid the chaos and happiness called motherhood. The inspired mom website was born from my own need to find inspiration and support to pursue my personal dreams while raising children, nurturing my relationship with my husband, working outside the home and volunteering at the kids school. You know what I mean because most of you do those things too!
I hope to share with other mothers:
Support for reaching your personal goals- fitness, family or business related.
Inspirational stories of other mothers.
Tips to keep you motivated.
If you sign up for the newsletter (see the bottom right corner) you will receive an inspirational quote every one or two weeks. This will not be spam or advertising- just a thought provoking quote and a link to the inspired mom website if you want to read more.
Join me on my journey to discover inspirational women around the country and find support to follow your own dreams- whatever they may be.

Kristin, So far………good! I’m anxious for the rest. Di

Kristin- Looks great! On Mother’s Day I flew cross country with a one year old and six year old shoved into coach. I didn’t pack enough diapers and she had a second poop on the plane. The only other Mom on the plane with twin babies was traveling in first class so I borrowed a diaper from Marcia Cross sitting in first class who brought her babies back to the end of coach to meet Natalie after I changed her diaper! Anyway, just another crazy day in the life of a Mom. Congrats on your new web site! Can’t wait for more motivational stories! Carol

Kristin,
Congratulations on your first step! Nothing is harder than taking that first step. Too many people are paralyzed into inaction in fulfilling their dreams so people like you who actually do something are a true inspiration. You’ll never know what seeds you sow out there for other women to reach out for their dreams.

Kristin, I wish I could say I was surprised, but I never expected any less than perfection from you! How you find the time to do all the things you do and be a great mom, I will never understand. Maybe this website will be the key for me…Best wishes on a great launch. The website looks amazing and, more importantly, the content is truly motivating. Keep it coming!

As I read this, I too get a “Carrie Bradshaw” for “moms” version! You can be the Manhattan Beach “Carrie” opposed to the Manhattan, NY one.
Good for you and my best~

Kristen, what an accomplishment for you to have seen your inspiring website to fruition. Knowing you and all you already do, this is fabulous! Everybody talks about all the things they always want to do but so few take action. You inspire me everyday and this is a really wonderful moment to see the launch of your beautiful website! xoxo (P.S. I loved reading about Beth!)

Kristin, you are truly an amazing and yes, inspiring, woman. I wish you much success with your wonderful website and will do my part to spread the word. As a number of friends noted above, the appeal of the site and the quality of the content would be suprising if it were other than a Kristin Benz-Coons Production! You go, girl… and bring us along with you!
