Thank you for another informative blog. The place else may I get that kind of information written in such an ideal means? I have a project that I'm simply now working on, and I have been at the look out for such information.

Thank you for being so honest. We sometimes slip into that mode too. However, I am still in the diaper phase but also entering the teenage phase. I have found that the kids watch less T.V. and play less video games when they are expected to help out. The older ones need to watch the youngest one in order for me to make dinner and they are responsible for setting the table and feeding the dogs. All this with sports, homework and music lessons they do not have time to watch T.V. during the week. I also make it a point to have dinner every night together and this is my favorite time of day because we talk about the good things and not so good things that happened. It really keeps us connected. Usually every Friday we have family movie night or family Wii night which is our reward for the hard work we have done over the past week. The kids really look forward to it and are disappointed if we can't have it for some reason. I just hope they still feel this way when they get older.

This is great Kris! ;))). I can so relate! I was having a similar moment yesterday,.. Thinking of the huge messes my older sons and their friends make, and for one second I thought "Is THIS what I was put here to do?". Then the answer came to me... Yes! I am able to do it, and happily! My days are numbered that I will have this privilege, as K&J will be headed into the world in a couple of years. It occurred to me how strange that will feel, and a little bit sad. So, I decided to be happy with whatever mess they leave behind these days, and relish this time with them. It all goes so fast...
